Post Pandemic Relief Grant

- 12/19/2020

In October the VFW Foundation began accepting applications for the Post Pandemic Relief Grant (PPRG), which allows eligible VFW Posts to apply for a grant of up to $2500 to help cover Post building expenses such as mortgage and lease payments, property tax, insurance, etc. As of last week, about half of the $680,000 grant budget had been approved for grants to about 140 VFW Posts.

Yesterday the VFW Foundation Board of Directors approved our proposal to relax the eligibility requirements so that more Posts may be eligible to apply for the PPRG. Attached is a 1 page document that outlines the updated criteria. Please help us get the word out to VFW Post leaders in your Departments.

Questions about the PPRG may be addressed to Jason Couch, Grants and External Relations Coordinator: 816.968.1174,
