General Douglas MacArthur observed that “the soldier above all others prays for peace, for it is the soldier who must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war.” For every grave marker at a cemetery there are many other veterans who survived war but carry its scars.

Memorial Day

One tradition that is largely unknown by the general populous is the custom to pause at 3 PM local time to remember those who have died in battle. As you participate in what is known as the National Moment of Remembrance you join other men and women around the United States as they remember fallen soldiers.

Buddy Poppies

Helped the VFW live up to its motto, "to honor the dead. by helping the living." The Buddy Poppy - small red flower symbolic of the blood shed in World War I by millions of Allied soldiers in defense of freedom. - It was originally sold to provide relief for the people of war

Veteran Outreach

Coming home doesn't mean the battle is over. With over 10 times the amount of veterans lost to suicide than to combat operations in the same time period, there has never been a more important time to TAKE A STAND and DO something to support our veterans!! If you or someone you know is suffering from PTSD, we have people that have shared a similar experience and are ready to help.
